What is MyRunningShoe.com?

MyRunningShoe.com is an online resource for finding newly discontinued or hard-to-find running shoes.

We combine the inventories of Running Specialty Stores from around the country into a searchable database. When a customer finds a shoe to purchase, then place a "hold" on it, and the member store is notified.

Additionally, our ShoeFinder service allows customers to make requests for their preferred shoe. Our member stores are then notified in case they have the shoe, but have not placed it in their inventory.

We believe connecting runners with stores that specialize in dealing with runners is the best way to do business.

Who is MyRunningShoe.com?

MyRunningShoe.com was founded by brothers Mike and Don Orban in 2003. Their goal is to take what they've learned over the years, both on the road and off, to create an online experience that serves the needs of their customers and their member stores.

Both Mike and Don are veterans of the sport with over 45 combined years of running and racing experience.

Mike has worked in the running industry with experience ranging from managing running specialty stores, to working as a sales rep for such recognizable brands as Saucony, Frank Shorter, and Sporthill. He brings to the table a strong passion and knowledge of the business.
